Editorial independence

PaymentCompanies.com is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any company profiled on it. No company has paid for placement, for a rating, for the removal of a profile, or for a link. There are no affiliate links and no paid reviews anywhere on this site.

Opinion and fact

Profiles contain both. Factual claims are sourced, and the source list is published on every profile. Assessments — the capability ratings, and the judgement of who a company suits and who it does not — are our opinion, formed from those sources and offered as opinion. Reasonable people who read the same documents may reach different conclusions.

What we could not verify

Where a claim could not be confirmed, it is not asserted. On company profiles, the specific gaps are published in a "not verified" note rather than quietly omitted, so you can see what we do not know.

No pricing

We do not publish rates. Payment pricing is merchant-specific, volume-dependent, negotiable and frequently revised. Any figure published here would be wrong for most readers immediately. Get pricing in writing from the provider, and read the fee schedule attached to the agreement rather than the one on the marketing page.

Not advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and nothing here should be relied on as the sole basis for a commercial decision. Read the merchant agreement. If the decision is material to your business, have a professional read it too.
